When I pursued my studies in Bicol and stayed there for good, I wasn't actually a lost ball in the high weeds, instead I felt that sense of belonging. I got to fuse with relatives who were new to me then.

My uncle Toti (my father's brod) had burnt brows for local politics. As a child, I described it as absurd...spending time, money, and effort for just a single & limited title. I hardly understood how vital influences were.
My father once told me in my teen years that I was so introvert that I knew nobody in our street. The truth of the matter was- he had been over-protecting me...creating me to be so reserved and timid...a poor man's something.
